My name is Denise Pimentel. I was born and raised in The New York State of Mind! I currently reside in the suburbs of New Jersey, but as they say, "you can take the girl out of New York, but you can't take the New York out of the girl." I must admit as I grow older, the beauty of all New Jersey has to offer fills me with great peace, especially when I'm writing or creating.

I started my working career as a teacher, first earning my B.A. in Elementary Education and History and my Master's Degree in American Studies. I taught for many years in Elementary and Middle school classrooms and loved it. However, I wanted to add something I had always had a love for. I love being able to express myself through writing. In 2017 while being a stay home mom and unable to return to work yet, I went out on a limb and started my own Freelance Writing company: Glorified Writing.

Shortly after starting the business, I was contacted by an education company in search of someone to write some articles for them. From there, I took on other writing pieces, one of which became published in a digital online magazine. Yet again, I still aspired for more.

In 2020, I decided to turn my writing from professional to the fun. I started a greeting card line, using both my writing and graphic design skills. I finally was able to bring something else that I lived to to life.

Not only does my greeting card line keep my love for creation and expression flowing, but it gave me time to be the mother and wife my family needed me to be, while also leaving some time to pursue hobbies I enjoy like photography and fine arts.
